Thatssssss a very nice houssssse you have there <

Ah Fuck!

The only reason why creepers blow your shit up... Is because they wanted a hug but no its not like that! they only do that because they pack shitloads of TNT in their own bodies WE DEMAND TO BE ARMED Packed and secured. This can call for making a house in the mountains or underground That's one way that creepers wont blow up your goddamn house but they piss you off more when you get killed by one. Now our safety tip would be going underground and being safe from those green Dicks.

Running Away

The most bad part about getting chased is running away. Now you need to make powered rails before the night comes. But if you try running away, That creeper can firmaly run after you! Go to a safe spot to where the creeper cant see you and make a house somewhere else.

Difficulty Levels for Creeper Blowup

Creepers on Easy = 49 (2 x 24.5) Creepers on Normal = 49 (2 x 24.5) Creepers on Hard = 49 (2 x 24.5) ALL ARE THE SAME VALUE!

Charged Up Creepers

A charged creeper is a dangerous type of creeper created when lightning strikes within 3 - 4 blocks of a normal creeper (a rare occurrence). Charged creepers do not otherwise spawn naturally and can be distinguished from normal creepers by the blue aura surrounding them (this blue aura is the power.png in the armor folder in your minecraft.jar file). Many players refer to charged creepers as "Lightning creepers", due to the fact that they are created by lightning striking the creeper.

Charged creepers take damage from the initial lightning strike, so it takes fewer attacks to kill them than an ordinary creeper. Their countdown timers act the same as uncharged creepers, both range-wise and time-wise. However, an explosion caused by a charged creeper is much more powerful, than an explosion caused by a regular creeper (as shown in the image above). This blast is both more powerful and of greater radius.

Charged creepers have the same entity IDs as normal creepers but they have a powered tag set to 1.

Peaceful is for pussies. Not trying to piss you off or anything, but it's how I feel.

OT: Creepers aren't hard to kill, but should be feared on hard mode/charged creeper. It's as common as friday the 13th when I see a charged creeper, so you should not worry so much. Also if your fortification is well built, it shouldn't even be a challenge to kill creepers.

    My recommendations:

    Carry patching material

It's good to have some cobble and dirt on hand to patch up a hole in your house in the event a creeper puts a hole it

    Be aware

Creepers make no sounds when idle, and they like hiding. Keep an eye on corners

    The hit 'n' run

Standard creeper combat technique. Sprint, strike (jumping hit for crit optional), backpedal while you wait for its timer to reset, rinse and repeat.

    Well, maybe the bread. Maybe.

...Or you could just make your house out of obsidian. But seeing as how obsidian is fairly rare and hard to mine, that's unlikely.

Do what I do, Instal the mod that allows all mobs however when creepers explode there explosion doesn't break any blocks.
